About the House
Our house sits on the shore of the Esefjord, a few kilometres from Balestrand. It has four bedrooms and comfortably sleeps five.
It isn't a luxury holiday home. It's an older Norwegian house that we use ourselves and have gradually renovated and improved over the years. It's simple, practical and comfortable, with its own pier and boathouse just across the road.
Simple, practical and comfortable
The house is warm, comfortable and well equipped, but it hasn't been turned into a luxury holiday home. We've kept much of its original character and furnished it simply, with a mixture of old, new and second-hand furniture.

There are four bedrooms, sleeping five comfortably, together with a kitchen, bathroom and living room. The house has everything needed for a straightforward self-catering stay, without pretending to be something it isn't.
