A little about the house
Simple, practical and right on the fjord
Our house sits on the shore of the Esefjord, near Balestrand. It has four bedrooms, its own pier and boathouse, and everything you need for a straightforward self-catering stay.
It isn't a luxury holiday home, and we don't pretend that it is. It's an older Norwegian house that we use ourselves and have gradually renovated and improved over the years — comfortable, practical and in a very special location.

The house

A good base for independent sea anglers. Fishing rods and life jackets are available, along with practical advice based on our own experience of fishing the fjord.

Your own pier and boathouse just across the road, with direct access to the Esefjord for fishing, boating or simply sitting by the water.

Balestrand is only a few kilometres away, with mountains, walking, cycling and plenty more to explore around the Sognefjord.
